Critical Language Scholarship
Opportunity to participate in beginner, intermediate and/or advanced level summer language programs abroad. Languages include Arabic, Azerbaijani, Bangla, Chinese, Hindi, Indonesian, Japanese, Korean, Persian, Punjabi, Russian, Swahili, Turkish, and Urdu.
Award
Travel to and from program location, pre-departure orientation in Washington D.C., applicable visa fees, room, board, intensive language instruction, program-sponsored travel within country, all entrance fees for CLS cultural enrichment activities.
Eligibility
Graduate, Undergraduate all levels
U.S. citizens, currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate student. Open application. Students and alumni are welcome to consult with our office.
