Goldwater
Goldwater is the premier award for undergraduates preparing for careers in engineering, math, and the natural sciences. Applicants are evaluated based on outstanding academic performance and potential for research-focused careers.
Award
Selected scholars receive up to $7,500 for undergraduate expenses.
Eligibility
WashU endorsement required
U.S. Citizenship or permanent resident required; sophomore/junior in STEM field planning on graduate study and research-focused career. Pre-medical students should only apply if their career interest is research rather than clinical. Begin by completing pre-application on Goldwater website. WashU endorsement required.

Round 1 Campus Deadline: November 7, 2025 12:00 p.m. (noon) CT
Round 2 Campus Deadline: December, 18, 2025, 12:00 p.m. (noon) CT
